The valve is mainly composed of the valve body, the outlet valve body, the valve seat, the piston, the squirrel cage (fan leaf), the stem, the crank, the connecting rod, the shaft sleeve, the guide, the piston frame and the seal ring, plus the electric driving device, the PLC control system and the pressure sensor (flowmeter).

The regulation of the valve is mainly to adjust the flow area (or pressure) by changing the medium circulation area between the closed part (piston) and the seat sealing surface. The valve body is designed as an inner and outer cylinder structure, so that the structure of the valve is more in line with the flow control technology. The adjusting mechanism is a crank slider mechanism, and the closing piece is a cylinder shaped piston. In the cylinder of the valve body, the axial motion is guided by the guide guide along the center of the pipe, so the circulation area is changed to realize the control and adjustment function. The inner cavity of the valve body is a streamlined central axisymmetric flow channel, so that the fluid is well guided in the valve body, and the water resistance is small, and the head loss is low. The flow cross section at any position in the valve cavity is annular. The annular throttling surface of the piston at any position ensures the linear operation characteristics of the valve. The crank slider mechanism operates stably and reliably, the output torque is constant, the closing is fast and slow, so no water hammer is generated.

Structure design of 2. adjuster

The design of the regulating valve is generally based on the system pressure condition and the maximum and minimum flow condition. Different working conditions and technical conditions are very different. The traditional control valve is very difficult to control the output accurately in the flow regulation and pressure control, which is determined by the structure and operation mode of the traditional regulating valve. And the piston multi-function control valve can adapt to the requirements of different working conditions, and has excellent performance and good adaptability. We design the components of the valve body and close the adjusting parts to the combined split structure. When the system has different requirements, it can only meet the requirements by changing the closing regulation part or adjusting the tiny amount of adjustment. By analyzing the operating characteristics of the regulating valve, we determined that the piston type multifunction control valve was designed into two standard types: squirrel cage and fan blade ring. (as in Figure 2). When the system has special requirements, a little variation and modification can satisfy its individual requirements. At the same time, it also solves various technical problems under certain high requirements, especially in high precision, large differential pressure and large flow regulation. The piston type multi-function control valve has a pressure level up to PN100, and the upstream and downstream pressure difference of the valve can reach 4MPa.

The solution of 3. cavitation damage problem

Cavitation erosion is a problem that traditional control valve has not solved well. The two regulating structures of the piston type multifunction control valve, the squirrel cage type and the fan blade type, can effectively prevent cavitation damage (Fig. 3).

The fan blade ring is composed of evenly distributed guide vane, which divides the upstream medium flow into multiple small streams and conducts spiral flow under the guidance of fan blades. The flow of the medium is forced to change, and the cavitation bubbles are confined in the middle of the pipe. The rupture of the unstable bubble is not on the wall of the pipe and the valve, so it does not destroy the cavitation damage. The cage is a cylinder with holes in the front part of the piston. The hole is symmetrical, and the number of holes and quantities depends on the working conditions. The flow of medium flow through a cylindrical squirrel cage is divided into a number of high speed fluids, which is ejected into the center of the squirrel cage along the radial direction. Thus the cavitation is limited to the center of the squirrel cage, and thus the cavitation erosion of the valves and pipes will not be produced. The squirrel cage is suitable for the high pressure differential condition. When the downstream pressure is less than 2/3 of the upstream, the squirrel cage type is adopted. DN200, DN300 two caliber vane ring and squirrel cage structure pressure loss coefficient K value and valve stem opening curve (as shown in Figure 4).

The general control valve mostly adopts mechanical proportional hydraulic control mode, which has the problems of slow response, low accuracy and high failure rate. We have adopted modern technology of modern industrial control, computer and network communication technology in the design of the control system of the piston type multi-function control valve, and the modern control technology is first applied to the control system of the regulating valve (such as Figure 5). At the core of the programmable controller (PLC) with multiple communication ports and analog modules, the intelligent control of the valve is realized by using various sensors to collect various state information of the system and the PLC program. Through the connection of MODEM and public telephone line, it can also realize remote technical support and service of valves. According to different needs, the operation and execution mechanism can be selected as manual, electric, hydraulic and pneumatic, convenient and flexible.

The working environment of common motor (ambient temperature -20 ~ 60, environment relative humidity less than 90%, field working power AC380 + 15% and control power AC220 + 15%, 50Hz + 2%) has the function of overheating protection, and the protection grade is not less than IP55.
